The wooden dial frame is finished in charcoal black with aged brass wire brushing with inner Roman numerals, bar markers, and motorized gears finished in aged gold. The center of the dial includes a background finished in charcoal black with aged brass wire brushing. The hour and minute hands are finished in a charcoal black finish.

In 1989, Howard Miller began creating collectors cabinets with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship inherent in their clockmaking.
